Well after a busy weekend its back to school for the victorous Wedderburn College "Try-athalon" team. Back commencing their week of Year 9 and 10 exams.
A special assembly will be held later in the week.
Well done to everyone on a fantastic achievement.

Wedderburn Wins "Try-Athalon" Event
Wow what a successful weekend for the mighty Wedderburn, with Unit 1 and 2, competing well in the RACV Energy Breakthrough "Try-athalon", with Unit 1 coming out overall winners of their sections.
Led by Eric Jones, along with Paul McNamara, Jesse Jackson, Brian Rowley, Matt Theim, Kyle Dahmes, Kevin Mitchell, John Haig Unit 1 started off on Thursday, with a magnificant presentation. On Friday it won its Time Trial and Obstacle Course section, before competing fantastically in the Endurance event on Saturday.
Well done to the boys, who by winning this event have capped off a great year. And not to forget Team Manager or CEO of Wedderburn Racing Mr Ron Mackay and his offsider and catering manager Carol Theim who both deserve a lot of credit for the team's achievements. Special mention must also go to Darryl McNicol, who's expertise over the weekend was vital. Annette McNamara contribution on the weekend was fantastic, as well as all the other parents, who came along and supported the team. Thanks very much.
Unit 2 led by Kurt Price and Team Manager Larisha Rowney, also had an excellent week, not exactly sure of their overall achievement at the moment as i have only just woken up, but the boys were very successful finishing in the top 5 in their section, managing to win a design and presentation award. Well done on the fantastic effort on the weekend.

The weekend has arrived
Well after an eventful year, the weekend that we have all been waiting for is just about here. Tomorrow we load our vehicles and head down to Maryborough to compete in the RACV Energy Breakthrough.
A year's hard work will come to fruition.
This year we are entering two teams in the Tryathalon (their spelling now ours!!!) section and hope to be successful.
Good luck to all the other teams competing this weekend and let's hope Wedderburn are successful.
